I’ve posted great new U.S. specimens from the Pete Richards Collection. These include copper from the Keweenaw Peninsula, a world-class awaruite, personally-collected NY hematite specimens and more

I’ve posted a great selection of U.S. specimens from many different collections in the new US Update. There are specimens from the collections of Rock Currier, Robert Bartsch, John S. White, Pete Richards, Steve Szilard and from my collection too.

I’ve added great specimens from the Pete Richards collection, from localities around the world, including Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico and more.

I’ve added great new specimens from the Steve Szilard Collection – these are beautiful pieces from some remote localities in northern and western Canada.

I’ve added more great U.S. specimens in this new Pete Richards Collection Update. These include beautiful specimens from classic American localities from across the country.

I’ve added some absolutely superb specimens from the collection of John S. White. These are mixed international highlights from the display case in John’s library/study – they are exquisite pieces!

I’ve added great new specimens in a new update of pieces from the Steve Szilard Collection. Steve is a well-known and highly respected Canadian mineral collector and this update includes fine mineral specimens from all over the world.

I’ve posted a small number of excellent pyrite iron cross twins from Colombia in this update.

I’ve added excellent specimens from two great Peruvian localities in this Peru Update – tennantite specimens from Mundo Nuevo and pyrite specimens from Huanzala.

I’ve just added a post with my report from the Tucson shows, 2018. Some new finds and lots of excellent new mineral specimens!

I’ve posted a small group of great specimens from recent work at the famous Mundo Nuevo Mine in Peru on the website in this Mundo Nuevo Update. This update features excellent sharp tetrahedrite crystals, and nice pyrite as well – unusual for this locality!

High in the Andes, Southern Peaks Mining operates one of Peru’s most famous historical mines, the Quiruvilca Mine. Quiruvilca is one of Peru’s most important mineral specimen producing localities. I was invited to go to Quiruvilca, resulting in an adventure that included some amazing time underground to explore the sulfide veins as they were being mined.
