I’ve posted a new Egypt Update, featuring excellent goethite pseudomorphs after marcasite from the White Desert, north of Farafra Oasis.

Excellent new specimens from Mont Saint-Hilaire. The specimens in this update are from finds 1988-2007. This selection of specimens represents several different unique finds, including beautiful serandites, terminated elpidite crystals, twinned rhodochrosite, sodalite var. hackmanite, narsarsukite, leucophanite, analcime and more.

I’ve added some vibrant chrysocolla pseudomorphs in the new Chrysocolla Update. These specimens have been definitively identified as chrysocolla, on malachite pseudomorphs after azurite. I suspect that they may be a chrysocolla pseudomorphs after malachite on chrysocolla pseudomorphs (partial and complete) after malachite pseudomorphs after azurite. In any event, they are colourful cabinet specimens of chrysocolla!
