I’ve posted a great selection of U.S. specimens from many different collections in the new US Update. There are specimens from the collections of Rock Currier, Robert Bartsch, John S. White, Pete Richards, Steve Szilard and from my collection too.

I’ve posted the second update of many specimens to come from the John S. White quartz collection. In this update there are many specimens with inclusions.

I’ve posted a small group of specimens in this new Pakistan Epidote Update. These are fans of sharp, lustrous epidote crystals, some of which are associated with quartz crystals.

It’s hard to believe how different the world was, only a few weeks ago. Who imagined then, all the ways in which our lives would be impacted in the weeks after Tucson. It will be a while until all of us are once again together at a large international show, which makes it all the more important to enjoy show memories and stay connected online. In that light, let’s travel back to Tucson…

I’ve added great new specimens in a new update of pieces from the Steve Szilard Collection. Steve is a well-known and highly respected Canadian mineral collector and this update includes fine mineral specimens from all over the world.

I’ve posted the second in a series of updates with superb specimens from John White’s collection.

I’ve posted fun new specimens in this Mali Update. This update features particularly good clinochlore crystals, and also specimens of prehnite, grossular and andradite specimens, with some distinctive finds and a couple of unusual Mali localities.

I’ve added some excellent yellow stilbites on the website in the new Mali Update. Among the nicest and most distinctive stilbites I’ve ever seen from anywhere, specimens from Diamonkara have beautiful colour and form. These new Mali stilbites are perhaps not yet appreciated for what they are – these are striking, colourful display specimens of a mineral that is often pale and drab.

This South-Africa – Kenya Update includes a small number of excellent specimens. From South Africa, there are beautiful complex hematite crystals from the N’Chwaning II Mine. And from Kenya, there is a small group of the superb epidotes from Pakot, North Eastern Province, from the 2002 find.

Beautiful new specimens from Mali, featuring yellow balls of stilbite crystals from Diamonkara, a new find. The Diamonkara workings are in the same general vicinity of the Arrondissement Diako which has produced the now well-known specimens of prehnite and epidote. Also new among these specimens is an exceptionally fine prehnite on epidote.

Sharp, lustrous epidote specimens from the relatively new (and apparently depleted) locality, Concession Morgan 3, Coayllo, Cañete Province, Lima Department are now posted on the site under Peruvian Epidote – July 2014 Update. These are great epidotes!

This Pakistan-Afghanistan Update features selected fine specimens from Pakistan and Afghanistan, including excellent red zircons, a specimen of ilmenite rosettes, a transparent epidote, a beautiful large cluster of aquamarine crystals, a super diopside miniature, elbaite and more.
